Pix-padel Italy X-Perience brought together more than 90 exhibitors across 20,000 square metres. Padel Corporation, with two courts that saw three days of continuous competition and fun, made its mark with innovations in safety and technology.

Padel Corporation from Jesi could not be absent from the padel celebration that transformed Rome into the capital of a sport that, racket in hand, is attracting increasing attention, interest, and growing numbers of passionate players across Italy and Europe over the course of three days. At the Nuova Fiera di Roma, Pix-padel Italy X-Perience brought together more than 90 exhibitors across 20,000 square metres, featuring 10 playing courts, professional champions and recreational players putting their skills to the test, trial lessons, training sessions, exhibitions, and events covering everything related to this discipline. The sport now involves nearly one million people in Italy, with the prospect of that number potentially doubling.

The entire Padel Corporation team was also present, with two courts that saw a constant flow of competition and fun over the three days. In Rome, however, Padel Corporation primarily introduced important new developments, particularly in terms of innovation and safety in the industry, areas to which the company from the Marche region devotes special attention. “Finally, after almost a year of testing, work, and investment,” reveals Andrea Rossetti, honorary president of Padel Corporation, “we have been certified by TÜV, an international certification body that tested our courts, from the anchoring systems to the overall structure and the glass panels. We are the first company in the world to achieve this. Safety is our guiding principle: those who come to us are looking for certified, safe courts built to the highest standards.”

The same applies to the innovations featured in the latest “Valentino” model, which was showcased in Rome. Its designer, appropriately enough, is engineer Vito Valentino: “We have tried,” he explains, “to ensure that every component has the best possible characteristics: tubular steel sections with a thickness of 4 millimetres, hot-dip galvanisation for all external components, and a beam structure along the upper section of the glass to provide rigidity. This ensures that the glass itself, which is the most delicate component, is not subjected to flexing that could lead to dangerous breakages. And since the court has been given my name—not at my request—I feel an even greater responsibility to ensure that it is safe for both those who buy it and those who play on it, who should only have to think about enjoying themselves.”

But that is certainly not where things stop. Further developments are in the pipeline. “Our customers,” says Mattia Rossetti, sole director of Padel Corporation, “have repeatedly asked us for a super-panoramic model without corner posts, featuring 8+8 mm glass panels, which represent an innovation and a source of pride for us. As a result, we have planned the launch of the new Acquarium model for 2023, which will be added to our price lists within a couple of months.”

Alongside Padel Corporation at the Rome exhibition were the partnerships that are adding ever greater value to its offering: the technical collaboration with Padel Fusion Team, and the partnership with CentroLegno, which led to the development of the Han-gar model. “We build padel courts,” says Andrea Rossetti, “we do not buy and resell them. By guiding and supporting our customers from day one, from the initial site inspection through to final testing, while also assisting them with administrative requirements and permits, we understand that anyone who comes to us needs a wide range of services. For example, a club needs a technical component to operate successfully, which is why we have established our partnership with Padel Fusion Team and its network of coaches. Meanwhile, Han-gar has opened up a whole new world for us, one we had not even anticipated, with incredible success. We receive enquiries from all over the world, including customers in Switzerland, Tunisia, Austria, and even Australia.”
